Privacy Policy — Unlit

Developer: Yucelx · Contact: progisy@gmail.com
Last updated: 24 October 2026

In short

Unlit has no account, no ads and no server of its own. Unlit does not send what you enter anywhere; everything you enter stays on your device.

This policy covers Unlit (com.merigame.unlit), a support app for quitting smoking or cutting down, published on Google Play by the developer Yucelx, and its browser version at merigame.com/unlit/app/ (see “Web version”). There is no account and no advertising.

What stays on your device

These are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage:

All of this stays only on your device. Unlit's own code makes no network requests, so Unlit sends none of it anywhere. It is excluded from Google backup and from device-to-device transfer, so it does not move to a new phone.

Deleting your information

“Delete my data” on the About screen deletes all of it permanently, including the cached copy of a progress image you shared. Uninstalling the app also deletes everything. We do not hold a copy, so there is nothing we could delete or send to you.

Purchases

Unlit has an optional one-time purchase, Unlit Pro (no subscription), and an optional “Support the developer” purchase that unlocks nothing. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play; Unlit never sees your card or payment details. Unlit does not send purchase information to any server. The only thing kept on your device is whether Pro has been purchased, and the app checks this with Google Play when it opens. Google's own privacy policy applies to payments: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Data safety on Google Play

Google Play's payment library (Play Billing) sends its own diagnostic logs to Google. Because of this, the Data safety section on Google Play shows “App info and performance → Diagnostics”. This data is processed by Google, does not come to Unlit and is not shared. Unlit does not send what you enter anywhere.

What Unlit itself does not collect

Permissions

Unlit does not use location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.

Sharing

If you choose to, you can share your progress (the money set aside and the number of cigarettes swapped) as an image through your phone's own share screen. The image is made on your phone; Unlit does not send it to any server, and you choose where it goes. The Google Play link next to the image carries only a source tag (share_card); Unlit does not read it.

AI voice

The spoken guides in Wave sessions are audio files generated in advance with AI. They are inside the app. Your voice or data is not sent to any AI service, and the microphone is not used.

With Unlit Pro you can choose a male or a female voice for Wave and the breathing guide. The choice is stored on your device under “unlit.voice”. The female voice is also made of pre-generated files; its reference is a sample voice made with Kokoro (hexgrad, Apache 2.0), not a real person's voice. The microphone is not used and nothing is sent.

Language

The app is available in 9 languages: Turkish, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish and Dutch. The language is chosen from your phone's language; this happens on your device and nothing is sent.

Quit-smoking helplines

In Turkey the app shows the ALO 171 Quit Smoking Line. Elsewhere, it shows the official quit-smoking line of your country, chosen from your phone's language region and time zone (18 countries, from official sources). This choice is made entirely on your device: Unlit has no location permission and sends nothing anywhere.

Web version

Unlit also has a browser version at merigame.com/unlit/app/. It has only the free part: no Unlit Pro, no purchases and no female voice. Its “Get Unlit Pro on Android” button opens Google Play.

What you enter in the browser version is stored only in that browser on your device (localStorage). To open faster, the browser also keeps a copy of the app's files (service worker cache). Unlit's own code sends none of what you enter anywhere. “Delete my data” in the app, or clearing the browser's data for merigame.com, deletes it all.

The page and its files, including the voice files, are served by Cloudflare, which hosts merigame.com. Like any web host, Cloudflare may keep standard access logs of these requests (for example IP address, time and browser type) to run and protect the service; Unlit does not receive them. Cloudflare's privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

Links

The About screen links to the World Health Organization page used for the health timeline and to this policy; they open in your phone's own browser. The helpline number (for example “Call 171”) opens your phone app. Those services' own policies apply.

Children

Unlit is for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. Unlit's own code collects no data from anyone, including children.

Health notice

Unlit is not a medical device and does not replace medical care. Consult your doctor about health problems. In Turkey, free quit-smoking counselling is available from the ALO 171 Quit Smoking Line.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page and the date above changes.

Gizlilik Politikası — Unlit

Geliştirici: Yucelx · İletişim: progisy@gmail.com
Son güncelleme: 24 Ekim 2026

Kısaca

Unlit'te hesap yok, reklam yok, Unlit'in kendi sunucusu yok. Unlit girdiğiniz bilgileri hiçbir yere göndermez; girdiğiniz her şey cihazınızda kalır.

Google Play'in ödeme kütüphanesi (Play Billing) kendi tanılama kaydını Google'a gönderir.

Unlit'in kendisinin toplamadıkları

Cloudflare'in gizlilik politikası: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

Bağlantılar

Hakkında ekranındaki Dünya Sağlık Örgütü sayfası (sağlık zaman çizelgesinin kaynağı) ve bu politika bağlantıları telefonunuzun kendi tarayıcısında açılır. Destek hattı numarası (ör. “171'i ara”) telefon uygulamanızı açar. Bu hizmetlerin kendi politikaları geçerlidir.

Çocuklar

Unlit 18 yaş ve üzeri yetişkinler içindir, çocuklara yönelik değildir. Unlit'in kendi kodu çocuklar dahil kimseden veri toplamaz.
